Our philosophy is rooted in the conviction that every child is a competent, curious individual, capable of making choices, expressing ideas, and leading their own learning with guidance and encouragement. Rather than delivering knowledge based on pre-determined outcomes, our educators act as facilitators, supporting each child to work through the natural steps of exploration, discovery, trial, error, and reflection. Through this process, children build resilience, develop their own problem-solving strategies, and take ownership of their learning journey and future challenges.

With over 10 years of experience in education, Ms Simon has had the privilege of teaching children across various age groups, from Early Years, Primary and Secondary, in both private and international school settings.
She is passionate about supporting the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of young children, and strives to create an engaging, inclusive, and purposeful learning environment for every child. Ms Simon is a creative and resourceful educator who enjoys exploring new ideas and experiences to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.
Outside the classroom, she has a passion for travelling, enjoys home-cooked meals, and takes an interest in fashion and creative expression.
These interests enrich her approach to teaching and helps connect with children through imagination, curiosity, and joy.
Yassir Sliti
Mr Sliti brings a rare combination of elite athletic experience and educational leadership to Concord College Malaysia. With over 12 years in education and another 12 as a professional athlete, he specialises in volleyball, basketball, and athletics.
He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Sports and Business Management, and has led high-performing PE departments in leading British international schools. A former England and Great Britain international, Mr Sliti earned more than 120 caps in men’s volleyball and was awarded a prestigious scholarship to California State University, Long Beach—home to the No. 1 volleyball programme in the USA.
Renowned for his passion, drive, and commitment to both participation and excellence, Mr Sliti is dedicated to creating an inclusive and aspirational environment for all students. He believes in the power of sport to build character, confidence, and lifelong habits for success, and thrives in leading an ambitious and dynamic PE department here at Concord College Malaysia.
Ms Soo Chai See
Ms Soo Chai See is a dedicated and experienced Mandarin teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching Mandarin as a Foreign Language from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, along with HSK Grade 6 certification. With over ten years of teaching experience, she has worked with students across Key Stages 1 to 5, delivering a range of programmes including First Language Chinese, A-Level, IGCSE, EMIP, and UEC.
Passionate about sparking curiosity and fostering a love for language learning, Ms Chai creates a positive and engaging classroom environment where students can connect meaningfully with Mandarin language and culture.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys yoga and swimming, activities that help her stay balanced and motivated. Ms Chai See is excited to join Concord College International School and looks forward to helping students thrive in their Mandarin learning journey.

디스커버리 덴
호기심을 불러일으키고 마음을 양육하기 위해 설계된 생동감 있고 자극적인 실내 환경인 디스커버리 덴으로 들어오세요. 이곳에서 EYFS 학생들은 목적 있는 놀이, 탐험, 체험 학습에 참여합니다. 신중하게 설계된 여러 구역은 창의성, 문제 해결 능력, 초기 문해 및 수리 능력을 장려하며, 모두 어린이 탐험가들을 영감으로 이끌기 위해 맞춤화된 안전하고 즐거운 공간입니다. 아늑한 독서 코너부터 상호작용이 가능한 감각적 장소까지, 모든 요소들이 발견과 성장에 대한 사랑을 키워줍니다.

자주 묻는 질문
콩코드에 입학 가능한 시기는 언제인가요?
만 3세부터 4세까지의 어린이를 대상으로 합니다. 주요 입학은 8월/9월 학년 초에 진행되며, 일부 학생을 대상으로 1월 입학도 가능합니다.
입학 요건은 무엇인가요?
입학 평가가 필요하며, 유아기, 초등부 담당자와의 간단한 세션(질문 및 동화 읽기) 또는 수업 관찰 형태로 진행됩니다.
What is the shape of the school day?
Soft drop-off is at 8:00am. EYFS students will not have formal lessons with the class teacher, their timetable will be filled with continuous provision, but they will have specialist lessons which are the same as the rest of Primary.
Will there be English as Additional Language (EAL) support?
All students will be tested on arrival and placed in appropriate English class depending on their level of English. All teachers will also play a part in supporting the language development of the students within the curriculum for those who do not have English as their first language.
Is there a school uniform and how is this obtained?
EYFS have a uniform. There will be a uniform shop where parents can purchase all the necessary uniform. Clothing lists will be provided.
Will there be school buses?
There will be school buses at the start and end of the school day, with scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs in selected areas.
What sort of After-School Activities Programme will there be?
There is a comprehensive Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) programme offering a wide range of activities for students to participate in from Year 3 onwards. It includes clubs and societies, music and the arts, sport and outdoor education, as well as social activities, trips and expeditions and the Super-Curriculum. Students will benefit both personally and socially whilst learning the importance of team working, resilience and time management.
